Privacy Policy
Last updated: July 16, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how the Image Description Generator service (“we,” “us,” or “the service”) processes information when you use image generation, account, history, analytics, advertising, and related website features.
1. Information We Process
Images and Generation Inputs
When you use the generator, we may process:
- images you upload;
- image URLs and storage references;
- output type, language, and length settings;
- prompts, instructions, and other text you submit;
- security-verification information;
- request and generation identifiers.
Only upload content that you have permission to use. Do not upload confidential, highly sensitive, illegal, or harmful material.
Generated Content and History
We may store generated descriptions and related generation records. Records may include uploaded-image references, prompts and product settings, generated text, account identifiers, provider and model identifiers, request status and safety results, error information, performance data, and timestamps.
Anonymous users may also have limited history stored in their browser. Signed-in users may have history associated with their account.
Account Information
If you sign in, we may process your email address, display name, profile image, authentication-provider identifier, session data, account status, and related timestamps. Authentication providers process sign-in requests under their own terms and privacy policies. We do not ask for your Google password.
Technical and Usage Information
We and our providers may process:
- IP address and network information;
- browser and device information;
- page URL, page path, and referring page;
- cookie or similar identifier information;
- feature interactions and generation events;
- request status, normalized error codes, and performance information;
- security, fraud-prevention, and abuse-detection signals.
2. How We Use Information
We use information to:
- upload images and generate requested text;
- provide account, session, and history features;
- operate, secure, troubleshoot, and improve the service;
- prevent spam, abuse, fraud, and prohibited use;
- understand product usage when analytics consent has been granted;
- load advertising services when advertising consent and applicable requirements allow;
- respond to support, account, privacy, and legal requests.
3. Storage and Retention
Images, image URLs, prompts, generated content, account information, generation records, and operational logs may be stored by the service or its providers.
Retention depends on the feature used, account state, infrastructure configuration, security requirements, support needs, and provider practices. We do not promise that uploaded or generated data is removed as soon as a generation finishes unless a specific feature explicitly states and implements that behavior.
Browser-based local history can normally be cleared through the website or browser storage controls. Account and privacy requests can be submitted through the Contact page.
4. Analytics
The website may use analytics providers such as Google Analytics and Umami when the required consent has been granted.
Analytics may receive page paths, referrers, device information, product settings, feature events, request outcomes, normalized errors, performance measurements, and anonymous or authenticated-state indicators.
We design analytics events not to include uploaded-image content, raw image URLs, prompt text, generated text, email addresses, passwords, OAuth codes, access tokens, or session tokens.
5. Advertising and Google Services
The website may use Google advertising services on eligible public content pages.
Google and other third parties may place and read cookies on your browser, use web beacons, process IP addresses, or use other identifiers to serve, measure, personalize, or limit advertising, subject to your consent choices and applicable law.
Google may use information from this website and other websites to provide advertising services. Learn more in Google's explanation of how it uses information from sites or apps that use its services.
Where required, the website provides consent or privacy controls for personalized and non-personalized advertising. Google ads should not be displayed on private history screens, account pages, error pages, or screens that primarily contain user-specific uploads or generated results.
6. Cookies and Similar Technologies
Necessary Technologies
Necessary cookies or browser storage may be used for authentication, session management, security, request verification, language settings, and technical state.
Analytics and Advertising Technologies
When consent is granted, analytics and advertising providers may use cookies, web beacons, IP addresses, and other identifiers. Where required, these technologies remain disabled until the applicable consent choice has been made.
7. Service Providers
We may use providers for cloud hosting and content delivery, database and file storage, AI image analysis and text generation, authentication, analytics, advertising, security and request verification, email, and support operations. Providers process information under their own terms, privacy policies, and contractual obligations.
8. Information We Do Not Want in Analytics
Do not include the following information in analytics events or advertising requests:
- email addresses or direct contact information;
- passwords or authentication credentials;
- OAuth codes, access tokens, or session tokens;
- uploaded images or raw image URLs;
- prompt or generated-text bodies;
- medical, financial, identity, or other sensitive personal information.
9. Children's Privacy
The service is not directed to children under the age required to consent to data processing in their jurisdiction. Children should not upload personal or sensitive images or create accounts without appropriate parent or guardian involvement.
10. International Processing
The service and its providers may process information in countries other than the country where you live. Data-protection requirements and provider locations may vary.
11. Security
We use reasonable safeguards appropriate to operating an online service. No transmission or storage system is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
12. Your Choices
Depending on the feature and applicable law, you may be able to:
- accept, reject, or manage optional analytics and advertising technologies;
- clear cookies or local browser storage;
- avoid signing in;
- delete local history;
- request assistance with account or stored information;
- avoid uploading content you do not want processed.
13. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy when the service, providers, legal requirements, or data practices change. The date at the top shows the latest version.
